WELCOME TO MY AUTHOR WEBSITE!
If you love beautifully-written and critically-acclaimed historical fiction based on true events, you've come to the right place! I dreamt all of my life of becoming a novelist. I finally did at age 70 years old! (See BIO.) After struggling for years with kidney failure, then a related heart attack, my husband Evan was able to donate his kidney. He saved my life and my life dream! I hope you enjoy my books. Thank you for stopping by. I'd love to hear from you! You can reach me on my CONTACT page.

Welcome to my MIND MOSS Literary Blog
Welcome everyone! You may already be familiar with my novels and my other history blog about the American frontier, NotesfromtheFrontier.com. (You can check them out at this site!) I'm not only a novelist and blogger but an animal lover, former Iowa farm girl, cowgirl, rodeo queen, recent kidney transplant recipient, career magazine writer, editor and publisher, avid reader, and adjunct professor at several colleges.
I'm also an avid volunteer for causes I believe in: homeless veterans, humane societies, women's and children's rights, Native American rights, Missing and Murdered Native Women, and my favorite cause, the Chief Joseph Foundation. (I am giving a portion of BLOOD TO RUBIES royalties to CJF.)
My debut novel, Book of the Year & Amazon #1 Bestselling BLOOD TO RUBIES, and my upcoming 2025 novel, SAPPHIRES IN ASHES, as well as my blogs, are labors of love. I glory in the written word and celebrate my favorite writers and their words in this blog. By "writers," I mean ALL types of writers...anyone who puts words together to make them sing and inspire. As John Keats wrote, "Words and ideas change the world." They've profoundly changed my life and enriched it! I hope they enrich yours too.
